Come Sail the Largest Freshwater Lake in the world!

Captain Matthew is a USCG certified captain. He has sailed and fished big lakes all his life. He also has a bachelors degree in Environmental studies and works for Aflac. He is certified in first aid and CPR.

RATES - We carry up to six passengers.

Half Day ~four hours~ $225. Full Day ~eight hours~ $500 Deposits: 50% of the charter fee is required for reservation. The balance is due upon check-in. We take Cash or check

A refund of your deposit will be given for stormy weather if we can't reschedule (captians discretion)

    A typical cruise on the Hakunna Matatta will begin with:

An orientation to the vessel, safety instructions, and a time to consider special needs

Cruise along the North Shore ~ This byway follows the majestic shoreline of Lake Superior, the world's largest freshwater lake.

   Cruise under the aerial lift bridge, up the North Shore, over to Superior, WI, and back to Canal Park.

Harbor tour, with a close look at grain elevators, iron ore and coal docks, Great Lakes freighters, foreign ships and tugs.

SAIL WITH CONFIDENCE    The Hakunna Mattatta is equipped with all US Coast Guard required safety equipment. She is a stable and comfortable boat with a spacious, well lit, cockpit and cabin.

Details:  Please wear soft shoes with non-marking soles.

Bring clothing sufficient for hot and cold temperatures.

Sunglasses and sunscreen.

Motion sickness medications

Bring your own snacks and beverages.
